The following article is not part of the Zelda canon and should not be taken as such.
Shrines of Coral are objects in Cadence of Hyrule.[name references needed] They were introduced as part of the Octavo's Ode Downloadable Content update.
Location and Uses
Shrines of Coral appear in Dungeon in both Dungeon Mode and Octavo's Ode. While active, certain unique terrain features of Dungeons, such as Lava and pits, are replaced with Deep Water. Falling into Deep Water beyond the ability to swim causes the character to take damage. The effects of these Shrines last until the Dungeon is left, its Boss is defeated, or the affected character falls in battle.[1]
When destroyed, Shrines of Coral drop Iron Boots.
Trivia
- The appearance of the Shrine is a reference to Coral Riff, a boss from Crypt of the NecroDancer.

Hey, look! A shrine! Shrines are useful, but they often have a tricky side effect that you may not like. Bump into it if you want to take a chance and activate the shrine! Shrine effects stay active until you leave the dungeon, defeat the dungeon boss, or are defeated.
