Shrines of Coral are objects in Cadence of Hyrule. They were introduced as part of the Octavo's Ode Downloadable Content update.

Location and Uses

Shrines of Coral appear in Dungeons in both Dungeon Mode and Octavo's Ode. While active, certain unique terrain features of dungeons such as lava and pits are replaced with deep water, and falling into deep water beyond the ability to swim causes the character to take damage. The effects of shrines last until the Dungeon is left, the Dungeon Boss is defeated, or the affected character falls in battle.[1]

When destroyed, the shrine drops Iron Boots.

Trivia

  • The appearance of the shrine may be a reference to Coral Riff, a boss from Crypt of the NecroDancer.
