Skullropes are recurring Enemies in The Legend of Zelda series.[1]

Characteristics

Skullropes are a variety of Ropes that appear as worm-like monsters with skulls for heads.

A Link to the Past

Skullropes in A Link to the Past appear in Thieves' Town. If Link pulls one particular Lever Switch in the Dungeon,[which?] a group of them will fall from above. Aside from their appearance, they are identical to normal Ropes.

A Link Between Worlds

Tri Force Heroes

Skullropes in Tri Force Heroes are encountered more frequently than normal Ropes, and require more hits to be defeated. They attack by jumping above the Links' heads and dropping down onto them. The internal file names in Tri Force Heroes refer to Skullropes as "Bubble Ropes".
