The Sky Realm is the eighth Area in Tri Force Heroes.[1]

Features and Overview

The Sky Realm contains four Levels, and can be accessed through the Level Selection screen once all three of the Links step onto the Triforce Gateway in one of the lobbies of Hytopia Castle.[note 1] The Area will be accessible if all seven of the prior Areas have been cleared.[note 2]

The Area takes place in a magnificent castle in the sky, built upon perilous, floating islands. In order to finally confront Lady Maud, the Links must use all the skills they have learned to overcome obstacles that combine elements of previous Areas. They will battle the gold-plated Sky Soldiers and dragon-like Aeralfos, coordinate their movements to solve puzzles, and glide over huge gaps with the aid of Cuccos.

The Sky Realm's Mini-Boss, fought in the Deception Castle Level, is the Gigaleon. Its Boss, fought in the Sky Temple, is The Lady herself. After defeating her for the first time, Link finds the Lady's Parasol inside a Treasure Chest, allowing him to complete the Lady's Ensemble and break the curse that was placed on Princess Styla.

  • Though it is not mentioned in the Drablands Diary like each of the prior Areas, a bird's nest is hidden somewhere in each Level of the Sky Realm.

Notes

  1. Prior to the closure of Nintendo 3DS multiplayer servers, opting to meet with random "unknown heroes" online would require the player to select an Area before they are connected to other players.
  2. Players who have not unlocked the Sky Realm can still access the Area by selecting "I can't decide!" while another player selects the Sky Realm, or by having the Sky Realm win the roulette to decide amongst the players' Area selections.
