Skyview Tower
Skyview Towers are locations in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]
Features and Overview
Skyview Towers are Sheikah-made towers scattered across Hyrule. Travel Points can be found outside Skyview Towers, though they remain inactive until the Sheikah Slate Terminals inside are activated. Once activated, the Travel Points can be Warped to with the Purah Pad.
There are a total of 15 Skyview Towers across Hyrule. Purah constructed them as a means to survey the surrounding areas where they are placed, similarly to Sheikah Tower. Unlike Sheikah Tower, Skyview Towers require a person to be shot into the Sky with a Purah Pad and a Paraglider in order to scan the environment and return safely. After Link and Zelda disappear Beneath Hyrule Castle, Purah has to stop her work on surveying the land. Once Link returns and speaks to Purah at Lookout Landing, Purah activates the Skyview Towers and gives him a Paraglider while tasking him with the mission of traveling to all of them and scanning both the Sky and Surface. Once Link enters a Skyview Tower's cannon and scans an area, both the Maps of the Sky and Surface will update, providing him with detailed location information.
