The South Tabantha Snowfield,(TotKTears of the Kingdom)[1] also known as the S. Tabantha Snowfield,(BotWBreath of the Wild)[2] is a recurring location in The Legend of Zelda series.

Features and Overview

Breath of the Wild

S. Tabantha Snowfield is located in the Tabantha Tundra. The Snowfield Stable is located at the center of the S. Tabantha Snowfield, surrounded by several groupings of Cedar Trees. It is bisected by part of the Hilltop High Road, which ends once it reaches the Stable. The Tanagar Canyon runs along the southern end of the Snowfield. Since the Snowfield is part of a Freezing Climate, Link requires at least two levels of Cold Resistance in order to traverse it without taking damage.

One Treasure Chest can be found on the S. Tabantha Snowfield. It is a metal Chest northeast of Pondo's Lodge, and it contains a bundle of five Shock Arrows.

There are a total of four Korok Seed Puzzles on the S. Tabantha Snowfield. The first is a grouping of Leaves with Fairy Dust that dart around the Snow north of Snowfield Stable. The second is a Jar located within a felled Cedar Tree, which Link must destroy using Archery. The third is a Natural Hiding Spot, taking the form of a Rock under a Pile of Leaves southwest of Snowfield Stable. Lastly, an Archery Puzzle can be found along the edge of the Tanagar Canyon south of the Stable, where it is marked by a Pinwheel. Whenever Link solves one of these Puzzles, a Korok will appear and give him a Korok Seed.[3]
