Splash Fruits can be found growing near bodies of Water. Exposing Splash Fruits to Fire causes them to burst instead of becoming Roasted Food.

When thrown or Fused to an Arrow, Splash Fruits burst and spray Water, which can cool Lava into Lava Slabs and wash away Sludge. Meals Cooked with Splash Fruit will enhance Link's Swim Speed.
