Stealthfin Trouts are recurring Creatures and Items in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2][3]

Hyrule Compendium Entry
Stealthfin Trout can be found in bodies of water in both the Great Hyrule Forest and Eldin Mountains, though they're plentiful within Lake Mekar. They're easy to find at night due to the fact that they glow in the dark.[1] If Link eats a Stealthfin Trout, he will regain one Heart to his Life Gauge. They can also be burned by Fire to become Roasted Trout or chilled by Ice to become Frozen Trout. Cooking with Stealthfin Trout results in a meal that will temporarily increase Link's Stealth when eaten.[1]
Stealthfin Trout, as well as other fish, can be used in a Cooking Pot to make a Fish Skewer, a Fish and Mushroom Skewer, and Salt-Grilled Fish in a Cooking Pot. Stealthfin Trout are also counted among the seafood that can make Fish Pie, Creamy Seafood Soup, Copious Fish Skewers, Glazed Seafood, Gourmet Meat and Seafood Fry, Meat and Seafood Fry, Monster Stew, Pepper Seafood, Prime Meat and Seafood Fry, Seafood Meunière, Seafood Rice Balls, and Steamed Fish.
In order to upgrade the Stealth Set to its final tier at a Great Fairy Fountain, Link needs to gather ten Stealthfin Trout and five Silent Princesses for each piece.
