Steamed Meat appears in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity as an unlockable Recipe. The Recipe is obtained by completing the Side Quest "Hot Meals in a Pot". Steamed Meat boosts the Warrior's damage by 5% when cooked before the start of a Challenge or Scenario. It is made using three Hyrule Herbs and three pieces of Raw Meat.[citation needed]
Steamed Meat
Steamed Meats are recurring Items in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2][3]
Location and Uses
Breath of the Wild
Steamed Meats can be Cooked by combining a piece of Meat with any Vegetable, herb, or Flower, with the exception of Fortified Pumpkins, in a Cooking Pot. To make the default version, Hyrule Herbs must be used, as they do npt provide any Added Effects. Eating these Meals will heal several of Link's Hearts to his Life Gauge. The method of preparation used on these Meats preserves their moisture.[1]
Depending on the Vegetables, herbs, or Flowers used, as well as the presence of extra ingredients, Link can make the following variations of Steamed Meat:
- Hearty Steamed Meat:[4] Made by using Hearty Radishes, Big Hearty Radishes, or other hearty ingredients. When eaten, they'll restore all of Link's Hearts and grant him temporary Hearts.[4]
- Energizing Steamed Meat:[5] Made by using energizing ingredients. They can be eaten to replenish a portion of Link's Stamina Wheel.[5]
- Enduring Steamed Meat:[6] Made by using Endura Carrots or other enduring ingredients. Link's Stamina Wheel will be completely restored and overfilled when he eats them.[6]
- Hasty Steamed Meat:[7] Made by using Swift Carrots, Swift Violets, or other hasty ingredients. By eating them, Link's movement speed will be increased.[7]
- Spicy Steamed Meat:[8] Made by using Warm Safflinas or other spicy ingredients. They'll grant Link one level of Cold Resistance if they're eaten.[8]
- Electro Steamed Meat:[9] Made by using Electric Safflinas or other electric ingredients. If consumed, Link will gain one level of Shock Resistance.[9]
- Mighty Steamed Meat:[10] Made by using Mighty Thistles or other mighty ingredients. Eating them will provide Link with a boost to his attack power.[10]
- Tough Steamed Meat:[11] Made by using Armoranths or other tough ingredients. Link can eat these meats to receive a boost to his defense.[11]
- Sneaky Steamed Meat:[12] Made by using Blue Nightshades, Silent Princesses, or other sneaky ingredients. By eating them, Link's Stealth will be increased.[12]
- Chilly Steamed Meat:[13] Made by using Cool Safflinas or other chilly ingredients. These meats will grant Link one level of Heat Resistance when he eats them.[13]
Tears of the Kingdom
Steamed Meats return in Tears of the Kingdom. Like in Breath of the Wild, they can be made by Cooking any Vegetable, herb, or Flower with a piece of Meat. However, neither variety of Pumpkin can be used to make them.
