"Stranded on Eventide" is a Shrine Quest in Breath of the Wild.[1]

Overview

Upon stepping onto the shores of Eventide Island, Link will hear the voice of Korgu Chideh.[2] Since Link has been relying on his Items during his journey,[3] the Monk has created a challenge during which he must utilize whatever he can scavenge.[4] All of Link's Items, save for the Sheikah Slate and other Key Items, are then taken from him. He must insert Ancient Orbs to the three Pedestals with Concave Slots in order to have his belongings returned.[5] Once the Monk finishes speaking, the Shrine Quest will begin.

Link's equipment will only be returned to him if he completes the Shrine Quest or leaves Eventide Island. Link cannot Warp during the trial and must Swim away from the Island to leave. If Link returns to the Island after leaving, he must start the trial over from the beginning.

To complete the Shrine Quest, Link must find the three Ancient Orbs located on Eventide Island and place them in their corresponding Pedestals. One Ancient Orb is located on top of a Monster Stronghold, and a Pedestal can be found nearby on the northern tip of the Island. Another Ancient Orb is attached to the necklace of a Blue Hinox on the eastern side of the central jungle, and it can be placed in a Pedestal on a rock formation. The final Ancient Orb can be found on Koholit Rock, within another Monster Stronghold. A Pedestal can also be found here under a big slab that must be moved with Stasis.

Link can find Weapons and Materials in Treasure Chests or by scavenging throughout Eventide Island. He can use Remote Bombs to defeat weaker Enemies, which conserve Weapons Durability. He is also able to use Urbosa's Fury to inflict high damage to an entire camp of Enemies.

When all three Ancient Orbs have been placed in Concave Slots, Korgu Chideh Shrine will emerge from the ground on top of Koholit Rock.[6] Korgu Chideh will return Link's belongings,[7] at which point the Monk invites him to enter the Ancient Shrine.[8] After this, the Shrine Quest will be completed.
