Strato is a character in The Minish Cap.[2]

Biography

Strato lives in his House in Hyrule Town. Although he does not reveal it at first, it is eventually revealed that he is a member of the Wind Tribe who recently moved to Hyrule Town.[3] If Link Fuses Kinstones with him, a Portal will appear in South Hyrule Field near Link's House, which allows Link to teleport to a limited section of the Home of the Wind Tribe in the Cloud Tops. Here, Link has the opportunity to save Gregal from the Ghost, which will reward him with the Light Arrow after he arrives at the Home of the Wind Tribe via the Cloud Tops.

Other Appearances

The Minish Cap (Himekawa)

Strato appears in the The Minish Cap manga by Akira Himekawa, where he encounters Link and requests to see his Map. He explains to Link that he is searching for Gustaf's tomb and requests that he visit Royal Valley in his place due to being unaccustomed to walking on the ground. He gives Link a Kinstone Bag in exchange for going and explains their purpose before disappearing into the wind.

Later, when Link is in the Royal Crypt, he is attacked by the spirit of Gustaf, who stops shortly after seeing a Kinstone fall out of Link's bag. Gustaf recognizes them as a sign from the Wind Tribe and directs Link to the Source of the Flow, leading to the Cloud Tops.
