The Sun Balloon is an Object in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]
Location and Uses
The Sun Balloon is a unique Hot-Air Balloon that Hudson makes for his daughter Mattison during the Side Adventure "Mattison's Independence". At first, he wants to make it special for her, but he is unsure how to do so.[2] Mattison compares the Hot-Air Balloon to the sun, which inspires Hudson to dye the Balloon itself yellow using Sundelions.[3] When Link gives him 10 Sundelions, Hudson will be able to dye the Balloon.[4] Although Mattison is disappointed she was unable to find the Sundelions herself, Hudson cheers her up by having her help him with the dyeing.[5]
After completing the Sun Balloon, Rhondson arrives to inform them that Mattison's escort to Gerudo Town has arrived.[6] Hudson decides that they should all ride back to Tarrey Town in the newly-completed Sun Balloon.[7] Once Mattison arrives in Gerudo Town, the Sun Balloon can be found in the northern courtyard. During the day, she takes Aaqlet to see the Sun Balloon, which she considers to be her prized possession.[8] Aaqlet finds its yellow coloring to be cute,[9][10] and she shares her experience seeing it while meeting with the Kids Klub in the evening.[1]
