Sun Blocks are recurring Objects in The Legend of Zelda series.[1] Sun Blocks go unnamed in Majora's Mask.
Location and Uses
Ocarina of Time
Sun Blocks are found within the Spirit Temple. They can be pushed and pulled like normal Blocks and function similar to a Sun Switch, becoming activated when hit by a reflected Sunlight. When examined, they ask to be shown Light.[2]
Majora's Mask
Sun Blocks appear in Majora's Mask, featuring a sun with a face in their design. They are used to seal passages in the Ikana Canyon region. They can only be removed by exposing them to light. Link can also remove them by reflecting light at them with the Mirror Shield or by shooting a Light Arrow. In Majora's Mask 3D, the sun design's face was replaced with an eye.
Trivia
- In Majora's Mask, Sun Blocks can be removed by using either regular Spring Water or Hot Spring Water.[3][4]
