"Surveying the Volcano" is a Quest in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

Overview

The "Surveying the Volcano" Quest becomes available after the "When Courage Fails" Scenario has been completed. The Gorons are using Divine Beast Vah Rudania to study the volcanic crater of Death Mountain, and they need fireproof Materials to create a notebook that will not burn. Once they receive the Materials, the Gorons are able to complete their research, and their use of Vah Rudania improves its piloting systems. As a result, Divine Beast Vah Rudania will receive a power up.

"Surveying the Volcano" is one of several Quests that must be finished as part of the Quests "The Hope of Eldin" and "The Hope of All Hyrule".

Objectives

Stage	Description
Start	The Gorons are using Divine Beast Vah Rudania to study Death Mountain's volcanic crater. It'd be tragic if their notes burned up, so bring materials for creating a fireproof notebook.
Complete	The fireproof notebook was perfect for the Gorons' research, so the crater study was completed nicely. Using Divine Beast Vah Rudania in the work also improved its piloting systems.
