Four Swords Adventures
The Temple of Ice features several small Switch Platforms which appear when a Somarian Block (created with the Level 2 Fire Rod) comes into contact with a floating question mark block. These Switch Platforms have only one Switch in the middle. When pressed, the Switch Platform will move back and forth along a set track until the Links step off the Switch. Each Link can create only one Switch Platform at a time, meaning that there can be up to four Switch Platforms active at once. When a Link attempts to create a second Switch Platform, the first reverts back to a question mark block.
A larger Switch Platform appears in the Realm of the Heavens. The Links must use it to navigate an open expanse of floating, Fire-breathing Stone Statues. A Somarian Block is not needed to activate it. It has four Switches—one on each of its four sides. The platform moves in the direction of whichever Switch is pressed—the Switch on the right edge moves the platform to the right, the top Switch moves the platform upwards, and so on. The platform can also move diagonally if two Links stand on Switches at diagonals. Switches at opposite edges cancel each other out if pressed at the same time.
