Swordswomen Statues,(BotW)[1] also known as Statues of Swordswomen,(BotW)[2] are recurring Objects in The Legend of Zelda series.[name references needed]

Location and Uses

Breath of the Wild

The Swordswomen Statues are spread throughout the West Barrens of the Gerudo Desert. Each one depicts a Gerudo woman carrying a Gerudo Shield. They also each carry a Traveler's Claymore, which Link can take from them.

Laine, one of the guards of Gerudo Town, points out the Swordswomen Statues to Link, explaining they are remnants of an age long past.[2] She shares a rumor that the Swordswomen point towards the location of an ancient treasure, but she dismisses it as superstition.[3] Due to the dangerous Enemies that can be encountered in the sandstorms of the West Barrens, she sees no reason to search for this treasure.[4] This begins "The Silent Swordswomen" Shrine Quest.

By following the Swordswomen Statues, Link will eventually come upon Kema Zoos Shrine. Activating this Ancient Shrine will complete the Shrine Quest.

Tears of the Kingdom

The Swordswomen Statues remain in the West Barrens in Tears of the Kingdom. Their Traveler's Claymores have decayed as a result of the Upheaval.
