Symphony of the Mask is the third downloadable content pack for Cadence of Hyrule.[1] It is available as part of the Cadence of Hyrule Season Pass.

Overview

Symphony of the Mask introduces the Skull Kid as a playable character, as well as a new map, story, and Songs.[1]

Symphony of the Mask follows the story of the Skull Kid in the Future World where Ganon has taken over Hyrule. The dying Deku Tree entrusts him with the Skull Mask and tells him that it is his destiny to defeat Ganon.[2][3]

Using Mask Magic, the Skull Kid can change between different Masks in order to make use of their respective powers, akin to the Masks from Termina in Majora's Mask.[4][5] The Masks available to the Skull Kid are the Deku Mask, the Skull Mask, the Darknut Mask, the Zora Mask, the Goron Mask and the Mask of Truth.[6][7][8][9][10][11]

Symphony of the Mask also shows that the Gerudo and Deku Scrub civilizations are still surviving in the Future World after Ganon defeats Octavo and takes power. New Enemies such as Ropes, Vires, Goriyas, and Taros also appear, and Enemies like Moblins, Red Bokoblins, and Tektites wear Skull Masks, allowing them to survive an additional hit.

The Future World is accessible in either the dedicated Symphony of the Mask (Mode) mode or the standard Story Mode.
