Tabantha Moose are a large species of Deer exclusively found in the snowy, montane areas of Hyrule.[3] The Hyrule Compendium specifies the Hebra Mountains and Gerudo Highlands as common locations where they can be found, but they are also present on the Tabantha Tundra and Mount Lanayru. Tabantha Moose are known for their large antlers, which they shed and regrow annually.[3]

Despite their size, Tabantha Moose are skittish Creatures that will flee at the slightest detection of sound. Tabantha Moose are known for their high-quality meat, and they drop Raw Prime Meat or Raw Gourmet Meat when they are killed.[3]
