Bottles sacred items?

The beavers do say that they consider the bottles to be treasures, but sacred connotes something entirely different. It implies holiness. I think that the article is incorrect when it calls the bottles "sacred to the beavers". Does anyone know what the original Japanese word is here? User:Bodo/sig 01:48, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

The Japanese text wouldn't be considered relevant under the wiki's Language and Localization Standards. I think this is just a poor choice of words by the editor, as you point out. Perhaps a change to "precious" or "valuable" would be more appropriate? Adam [ talk ] 12:44, 6 July 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Oh, you're right. I had forgotten about those guidelines. Thank you for pointing that out. I had been thinking "special", but I like "valuable" better. I'm going to go ahead and change it to that. User:Bodo/sig 16:08, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

Winning the beaver race

I think it is worth noting that one does not have to actually beat the beavers to win the race--merely stay inside the time limit. Is it all right if I add that to the article? User:Bodo/sig 01:48, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

Absolutely, you're fine to go ahead and change this kind of stuff without asking (just add a descriptive edit summary so the change is more visible). Adam [ talk ] 12:44, 6 July 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
