Glitch?

I've heard in a number of places online that the Bomb Arrow's first appearance, in Link's Awakening, was completely unintended, that the Bomb Arrow is a glitch activated by using the Bow and a Bomb at the same time. It certainly does look like it, as they're never mentioned anywhere in the game or the manual and there's nothing in the game they're required to get. Unfortunately, I can't find any proper source for this claim. Anyone know of one? --Osteoderm Jacket 19:22, 17 May 2012 (EDT)
