Regarding the similar appearance of the entrance with the Catfish from ALttP, it could be intentional given that part of the world in LA is formed from Link's subconscious (hence the appearance of Marin and Tarin for example) and the fact that ALttP, the Oracles and LA feature the same Link. - See, the fact that you have to add the word "could" is reason to not re-add it. The Great Deku Tree looks a lot like the Maku Trees, but that's just because they are both anthropomorphic trees. Yes, they probably thought of the Great Deku Tree doing the design process of the Maku Trees, but there is no real reason to mention it. Any reasonable person who has knowledge of both trees can see the similarities. The same applies to the Catfishes. I hope this alleviates your concerns. - I'm in favour of the re-add. If that is taken out, then every single theory and most of the trivia should also be ereased, which by the way seems to be what Champion of Nayru is aiming for. And being too obvious is not a reason to not add it, this is an encyclopedia and it has to point out everything, obvious or not. SilverArcher (talk) 22:36, 27 October 2013 (UTC)
- Trivia should be avoided if possible. Ideally the trivia is inter grated into the main article. Other times deletion is preferable. This trivia adds nothing to the article. Both are catfish and they reside in a circle of stones. Similarities noted. But suggesting that one was inspired by the other has no backing besides a few similarities. - I believe the Catfish itself (the location) shares the same Japanese name and English translation (capitalized and specific Catfish), it's a very clear reference to A Link to the Past, I'm sorry but I totally disagree on this. It even appears in a circle of stones. It's very blatant, even if it was not intentional it's certainly noteworthy. Both locations are reference to the Japanese myth of the giant catfish too. Other dungeons in the game also reference locations from A Link to the Past, such as the Face Shrine and Turtle Rock. User:Fizzle8094/sig 02:46, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
