Merge

I think this page should be merged with Gyorg. They seem to be both Marine like creatures, even though they have different attacks. I'm sorry about the template too. Who agrees/disagrees? - ShellShocker (talk) 11:36, 18 May 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

We should keep separate terms separate. (Note) โ€” ๐Œ๐š๐ ๐ข๐œ๐Œ๐š๐ฌ๐จ๐ง๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ (๐ญ๐š๐ฅ๐ค) 01:20, 31 May 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Odd Observation

Has anyone else noticed that the female Gyorg never attacks Link directly? Instead of attacking she fires babies that attack or has one of the males attack. Just something I noticed. --Heroofstuff (talk) 03:03, 23 October 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Two Males?

Are there really two males? That would make three Gyorgs, but the boss is Gyorg Pair, which would mean there were two. --Person777 (talk) 14:40, 31 December 2012 (UTC)Reply[reply]

That's a actually a really good point. There are clearly two blue (male) Gyorgs. "Gyorg Pair" is most likely just the name of the figurine (which only features two Gyorgs), as opposed to being the boss's actual name. Perhaps this should be merged with Gyorg (Boss). Or we could have two separate pages: "Gyorg (Majora's Mask)" and "Gyorg (The Minish Cap)". โ€”ย Hylianย Kingย [*] 15:46, 31 December 2012 (UTC)Reply[reply]
If we were to move this page, I feel that keeping "Gyorg (Majora's Mask)" and "Gyorg (The Minish Cap)" as separate pages would be a better idea. They are far too different to be on the same page, although a brief mention, like we have already on "Gyorg (Boss)", wouldn't hurt. It even says on "Gyorg (Boss)" that "other than their names and the fact that they are both fish, the Gyorg Pair bears no similarities whatsoever to the Gyorg of Majora's Mask." There would also appear to be two red (female) Gyorgs. I think there may just be multiple pairs. --SnorlaxMonster 16:49, 31 December 2012 (UTC)Reply[reply]
You might be right, but unlike the first male, the female flies off-screen to "die." You can't really tell if it actually dies or it's just temporarily out of commission. The next one you get on might be the same one that just recovered. We only know for sure that there's at least two males, since the first one dies on-screen, unambiguously. Plus, you can see two on the same screen at the start of the battle. But the figurine description does refer to the female Gyorg in the plural, implying that there is more than one flying around. So I'm... kind of at a loss here. โ€”ย Hylianย Kingย [*] 17:46, 31 December 2012 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Since the Japanese name is just "Gyorg male and female", I think the idea is that there is a bunch of them flying around, and the figure depicts two of them. I'm interested in how guidebooks handle this, but it appears that the individuals are called "Gyorg". "Gyorg" being such a popular name for Zelda enemies makes handling this hard though. --SnorlaxMonster 18:02, 31 December 2012 (UTC)Reply[reply]
