Split "Materials" into its own page

I think we should go ahead and split the Materials article into its own page, kind of like we did for the Treasure in PH, ST, etc, considering that they're pretty freaking important in the game to make badges and whatnot. What do you guys think? --Dany36 (talk) 05:34, 19 October 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I agree. We have articles for other monster treasures, so I don't see why not. There's quite a lot in HW. -The Goron Moron (talk) 05:54, 19 October 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I'm fine with it. Would we want to include stuff like percentages, badges that use the materials, what?KrytenKoro (talk) 21:40, 19 October 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Force Fragment

Can whoever changed this please provide where they got the name? The only in-game name I've seen so far is "Triforce Piece".KrytenKoro (talk) 18:52, 14 September 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I can't get a better quote right at the moment, but there's this from the Twilight Map:
"Defeating enemies will not fill the Special Attack gauge, and no Force Fragments will appear." -- Midoro (T C) 20:37, 14 September 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
"Fill up your Special Attack gauge by defeating enemies and collecting Force Fragments."
"Force Fragment Increases your Special Attack gauge."
These are quotes from the in-game manual, so Force Fragment seems to be the most consistent (and least confusing) term. - TonyT S C 21:05, 14 September 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Ocarina and Hammer

Is the table correct in displaying the Hammer as the upgrade of the Ocarina?KrytenKoro (talk) 16:27, 28 March 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I'm guessing that's not what it's trying to imply. It's just a way of keeping the rows even.
Does the Hammer not have an upgrade though? I know the Ocarina doesn't (...what would it do?) but I find it hard to believe the Hammer doesn't either. Peanutjon (talk) 18:41, 28 March 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I was right. The Hammer can be upgraded too (looks kinda like the Megaton Hammer? idk what the name is though) so we need to find that icon and list it. Peanutjon (talk) 04:24, 20 April 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
If it doesn't have an in-game name, do any of the upgraded items?{{SUBST:KrytenKoroSig}} 19:42, 2 March 2022 (UTC)

Light Arrow

What about the Light Arrow you get in the final battle with Beast Ganon? Peanutjon (talk) 18:42, 28 March 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hello? Peanutjon (talk) 14:55, 29 March 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
What about it? It's just a component of the (then quasi-permanent) Sacred Bow. - TonyT S C 17:11, 29 March 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Hm. I could've sworn it was a unique item. Ah well. Peanutjon (talk) 20:18, 29 March 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Powered-up items

Went back through the tutorials, badges, and the notification when you get a powered-up item, and they definitely do not give them specific names. The closest is when Zelda summons the Twilight Bow and calls it "Light Arrows" in the final Ganon story mission, which it's arguable if that's meant to be a specific narrative moment borrowing the mechanics of gameplay (like how Manhandla is used as a stand-in for Kalle Demos on the Great Sea map), or if it's claiming that you've been getting Light arrows this whole time. I would tend toward the former. If there's another quest that revolves around item power-ups and gives them actual names, please correct me.{{SUBST:KrytenKoroSig}} 16:38, 7 March 2022 (UTC)
