I was wondering if you attack a cucco in kakariko Village (ocarina of Time) and make 7 cuccos land in the pen for anju. Will it let you get the bottle when you talk to Anju since you have 7 cuccos in the pen.--Ironknuckle1 22:53, 24 October 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

How is "Kakariko" pronounced?

I've always wondered what the official pronunciation of "Kakariko" is supposed to be. Is it "kak-uh-ree-ko", "kuh-kare-ih-ko", or what? - DarkDude 20:44, 16 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

It is a good idea to add it to the article, so I removed the off-topic template. It is a word that should (like almost all words in zelda) be pronounced the Japanese way. Thus, it would be Kaw-Kaw-Ree-Koh. Stalkid 04:32, 17 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

First of all, that template wasn't yours to remove, so I'll be putting it back now; second of all, "Ka" is not pronounced "Kaw" in Japanese. Embyr 75  --Talk-- 13:23, 17 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Sorry about that. I'm still confused about the user permissions on ZW. Anyways, how would you spell out the pronunciation of ka? Also, I hate to argue the policies (mainly because I may get in trouble), but is it really so off-topic to know the pronunciation of a name? Lemme know if I'm pushing it too far. --Stalkid 01:00, 26 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Forums are an excellent place to discuss things like pronunciation. The talk pages should be used to discuss improvement for the article. The names template on the bottom of the page shows the katakana for "Kakariko" (カカリコ). A basic crash course in Japanese phonetics will help anyone who wants to learn how to sound that out. TP mistake

I think in the twilight princess part of the article instead of it saying "after getting the fused shadow from the temple of time" it should say "mirror Piece" I believe.

Yess, you're right! Jeangabin 04:00, 18 August 2010 (EDT)

Theory about Hidden Village

In the theory warning, it stats that "This seems especially likely given that no previous Impa is noted in Ocarina of Time, and that no other Kakariko Village appears in Ocarina of Time.". This is not true anymore after the events of Skyward Sword. DVPassos 06:26, 25 February 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Majora's Mask 3D

I was thinking of putting in the trivia the village theme song is used for the fishing holes in mm 3d. --0551E80Y (talk) 10:19, 28 July 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

The theme used in the Fishing Holes actually comes from the Fishing Pond in OoT, so I don't really think is trivia worthy. - Chuck * (Talk) 16:56, 28 July 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
you mean also used the song is highly recognized as kakariko village since it is generally visited first before the pond and has far more importance to the plot of the game then the fishing pond plus the official soundtrack says its kakiriko's village theme song so yeah its triva worthy its also more trival by the fact that the song wasn't used in the original majora's mask. --0551E80Y (talk) 14:46, 30 July 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
We don't really make note of reused music other than on the page for music that's recurring, but Chuck is right. It's only used there because it's used as the music from the Fishing Hole in OoT. - TonyT S C 00:45, 31 July 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
even though its officially known as Kakiriko village's theme song from ocarina of time which the song actually debuted in a link to the past on the village of the same name and the fishing hole in oot is just reusing its song so the song originally came from Kakiriko village regardless of it being used in a place for fishing and its trivia materical cos its not heard anywhere else in Majora's mask 3d and its not even in the n64 version at all. --0551E80Y (talk) 13:05, 3 August 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

BotW items

Why do those items not belong on the list? I went with they belong if they can be sensed by the sheikah sensor and are acknowledged by the camera rune, which they are. Is it because Link can't interact with them, because he can with the foods etc —Preceding unsigned comment added by Argentum kurodil (talk) 09:15, 6 December 2019

Don't forget to sign your signatures with four tildes.
This should be outlined in the Breath of the Wild guidelines. Items that can go in and out of a location, are held by enemies or characters, are found in shops, are created by Link's actions, or are not essentially just found on the ground for use, should not be added to these listings. It's not based on what the Camera can pick up nor whether the Sheikah Sensor can detect them. TriforceTony (talk) 16:25, 6 December 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]
