Probably so; it was inferred in the Lanmola article that the smaller creatures encountered when fighting Molgera may be Lanmolas too, but I don't know if we can say for certain. --Adam 12:15, 5 October 2007 (EDT)
I haven't played ALttP much, but it seems the samller Lanmolas are in it too! Apparently they are "found only in the swamp area just outside of Misery Mire" (from www.zeldadungeon.net) --Adam 02:52, 6 October 2007 (EDT)

Could use some help populating it with articles, including the official art from the original LoZ as well as the scene from the instruction booklet showing Link squaring off against a maroon-shaded Lanmola. Lanmolas or Lamola?
We have a problem. In this context, is the word "Lanmolas" singular? I really don't think so. If that is the case, we need to merge this article with Lanmola. Both articles reference the mini-boss in Link's Awakening. So we should merge these pages right?Emma(Talk)17:26, October 15, 2008 (UTC)
