Necessity to game completion

So a lot of people think that it's possible to beat LA without using this. It is not. I've tried using the possible paths without opening the book, and the game doesn't even choose one until you read it. For further proof of this, save the game in the Library, open the book, then turn off the game, load the save, and read it again. The path will be different if you didn't save after reading it.β€”Justin(Talk) 01:01, 15 January 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I PROVE MYSELF WRONG! I was completely and utterly wrong. The path randomizes every time you load the game, but it still sets a path. It is possible without the Magnifying Lens. I am a retard. Thank you.β€”Justin(Talk) 01:28, 16 January 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Merge

This page should be merged with the Lens of Truth due to being of the same perpose, type of item, and design with an eye. β€”Preceding unsigned comment added by Darre (talk) 03:36, 26 June 2014

While they do have similar functions, they are nowhere near being the same item. It's like comparing apples and oranges. Nintendocan (talk) 04:08, 26 June 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Grammar Misconceptions

I recently noticed that there have been edits to this page trying to decide is "Who" or "Whom" is correct in the sentence

Using it allows Link to encounter a Goriya with (Whom/Who) he can trade certain items for a Boomerang in Toronbo Shores.

I have confirmed the "Whom" is the correct pronoun to use in this sentence. Hopefully, this clears up any confusion. (I used Grammarly to check this for those who are wondering.) β€” 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐒𝐜𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧𝟏𝟎𝟎𝟎 (𝐭𝐚π₯𝐀) 04:14, 14 October 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]
