Trident of ganon

Do you think the trident Phantom Ganon has is the trident Ganon uses in some games? Robeluke 01:14, 30 April 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

The trident is probably based on Ganon's trident, but I highly doubt it's the SAME trident. Nothing is ever stated in-game to imply this; Phantom Ganon is just that: a phantom based on Ganon. --Ando (T) 02:17, 30 April 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Battle with Phantom Ganon in TP

Umm.. Did anyone forget about the battle with phantom gannon in TP? It was in The arbitures grounds (sp?) it wasn't stated that it was phantom gannon but it was pretty obvious. He had the horns and more importantly he had phantom ganons glowing sword with hylian written on it's side! User:Kyleuvkewl

No, that's not Phantom Ganon. That's Death Sword. Dany36 15:37, 23 July 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

That's Death Sword, silly! He's some what like Phantom Ganon. Only, he needs more than a bottle to defeat him. Deku2004 (talk) 00:35, 8 October 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Discussion here.

Should we...

...change the artwork in the infobox to that of Wind Waker's? Unlike Ocarina of Time, which only appeared in Ocarina of Time and a similar but still not the same design in Twilight Princess, vs. Wind Waker's which is nearly identical to Four Swords Adventure's (only difference being color) and also appeared in Hyrule Warriors Legends. TL;DR WW!Phantom is the more consistent design. Peanutjon (talk) 11:30, 10 March 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Actually it should be changed to the Twilight Princess version.
Our general policy for infoboxes is that we use the most recent canon design (artwork) and work backwards from there. (In lieu of canon material, it's then acceptable to use non-canon artwork in a similar fashion.) So I'm going to switch it in accordance with that, but thanks for bringing it up! - TonyT S C 13:46, 10 March 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Is that actually official artwork though...? It looks kind of like an in-game model rip. Which would actually make Wind Waker the most recent canon artwork. Peanutjon (talk) 19:51, 11 March 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
If there are no artworks for the most recent game, then a model is alright, especially with TP, which actually uses models as "artworks." - Chuck * (Talk) 22:19, 11 March 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Alright... although I don't really see why we'd pass up official, though somewhat outdated, artwork.
Also, there's a clear difference between a model intended as artwork and a model that was just ripped from a screenshot of the game. Phantom Ganon's appears to be the latter. Peanutjon (talk) 14:55, 12 March 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Like said before, if there are no artworks for the most recent game (in this case TP/TPHD), then a model is alright. - Chuck * (Talk) 18:07, 12 March 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Phantom Ganon has a really good theme song

The Wind Waker's rendition of Phantom Ganon has the most blood-pumping music, which is also the reason why I always equip my bottle. Deku2004 (talk) 00:33, 8 October 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
