Bird?

I'm not super comfortable saying this thing's race is "bird", firstly because that's never been confirmed as a tribe in the canon ("Animal" has, I guess?), and because...I mean, it's some kind of doodad.KrytenKoro (talk) 22:10, 30 January 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]

The context of race in this instance would be more akin to "species" than "tribe." Even though it's not any typical bird, it's very clearly supposed to be seen as a bird. However, since it isn't actually given a species, I would say it's fair to remove it altogether. - TonyT S C 22:34, 30 January 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]
It's soitenly bird-like, but, not in the same way a Cucco is. It almost looks like it could be a mechanical object, honestly.KrytenKoro (talk) 00:05, 31 January 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I don't quite think it's an inorganic mechanism, but you do have a point. I've gone ahead and removed it. - TonyT S C 00:20, 31 January 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]

allusion to Navi?

You guys think that Sheerow may be a subtle reference to Navi, the one who started the concept of Link having a companion? The solid white body and blue wings kinda makes me think of how fairy's in OoT and MM are orbs of light with a faint color around the edge of the glow, along with their wings being the same color as said glow. That combined with its other worldly appearance, and magical ability to go through between worlds. Sorta feels like Sheero is supposed to be Ravios companion. Like Navi, Tatl, Midna, and the King of Red Lions were to Link in past games.

just a thought I wanted to toss out.
