What in the heck? This is more liable for a disambiguation page than a character. Who agrees to kill the page? Justin(Talk) 20:33, 15 December 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

It's a valid page. I think he's a character in Spirit Tracks and only goes by the name of Teacher. Let's not be hasty. :P Dany36 (talk) 20:35, 15 December 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Really? Well I think he deserves more than "teacher." And more than one line. Justin(Talk) 20:37, 15 December 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
One sentence? XD Does this guy do anything else, or is he connected with anything? Maybe we could merge him into a larger article. — ciprianotalk 20:41, 15 December 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
There's honestly nothing he could be merged with, and yes there's definitely a paragraph worth of I formation that could be used, as well as an image. I'll see what I can do with the article. Steve 20:50, 15 December 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Teacher is all he's ever referred to as, so that's all we can do with the name. Let's see...He was at Link's graduation ceremony in the beginning. From what I can tell (Bear in mind I really didn't pay much attention to Castle Town throughout th game) he's the only one who genuinely believes Zelda's in danger, the guards thinking her kidnapping is a rumor. He's the one who saves Link and Alfonzo after Byrne attacks them in the beginning, bringing them to the castle. There's a sidequest where he wishes to go to every station in Hyrule in search of Zelda. When Link confronts him about being Teacher at Castle Town's station (He's wearing a rather poor disguise; a hood), he proclaims he has no idea who that is. I haven't actually started his sidequest yet, so I'm not sure what we learn of him during it. Reign (talk) 21:27, 15 December 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
That's good enough to deserve his own article. Plus, there are a bunch of Anouki-related articles that are just one sentence long and they have their own page. Just because it's a stub now, doesn't mean it has to stay that way forever. ;P Dany36 (talk) 21:32, 15 December 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Look guys, I'll get this page up to ZW standards in a couple days Calibure (talk) 20:19, 25 December 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
It's not so much of a sidequest as a quest-game. He's the only character that you can still chaffeur throughout the game, and once you take him to the randomly selected station of the day, he pays you depending on how well you engineered. The only other thing I can think of is that he appears in the epilogue. Off the top of my head, you see him standing next to Zelda as she signs bills. References

hey what happened to the references? Calibure (talk) 11:18, 26 December 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Oh, sorry. Is that what they were? In that case, take a look at the Help:References page, to see how they're done around here. ;) Alternatively, you can look at the page, as I have readded those two quotes as references in the proper manner. - M E L C H I Z E D E K  (TALK) 12:12, 26 December 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Was there a problem with explaining that he thinks she's just playing outside? KrytenKoro (talk) 15:19, 26 December 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
No. That's why it is still in the article. :D - M E L C H I Z E D E K  (TALK) 09:28, 28 December 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Name

In the Nintendo Dream Guidebook for Spirit Tracks, it's mentioned that Teacher's real given name is "Albatross". Should this be mentioned on this article somewhere? I don't suggest we rename the article entirely, but it's at least worth mentioning, I believe.

Here is the quote in question, from page 373 of the book:

ジイ
ゼルダ姫を世話する執事。
本名はアルバトロス
Old Man
A butler who takes care of Zelda.
His real name is Albatross.
