Official Site

The official Zelda Universe site has some interesting info that i think should be included

The Termina section found here explains the creation:

When Hyrule was created by the three goddesses at the beginning of time, there were certain side effects of its creation which Din, Nayru and Farore did not anticipate. As the three holy women breathed life into the world and chased away Emptiness, their potent breath slipped through tiny cracks in the folds of space and created millions of alternate worlds in the process. One of these worlds became the land known as Termina.

It is possible that we would know nothing of Termina's existence if Link had not been led there by the mischevious ac

Sakon's section found here confirms that Termina is real and continues to exist after Link's adventures.

Sakon is the name of a common thief who plagued the merchants of Clock Town. He would likely have long ago been forgotten, but Link foiled his plans on one occasion and the story has been a favorite tale in Termina ever since.--Fierce diety 22:29, 13 March 2011 (EDT)

The "official" site is widely known for making things up that amounts to little more than fan fiction. Most of the information on the site has been universally panned by the whole community. General policy here is to disregard what the official site says, except in certain rare circumstances.Emma (Talk) 03:19, March 15, 2011 (UTC)

Haunted Cartridge rumour

I'm hearing a lot about a haunted Majora's Mask cartridge, with a creepy Link. Can someone give me more informations on this?

Takaoldaria 07:07, 24 April 2011 (EDT)

It's a hoax that's been around since September 2010. It was made by a person under the alias "Jadusable" to test the gullibility of people. He's done a few interviews about it and admitted he was surprised that it gained such popularity. If you want more information, check out this article. — Abdul [T] [C] [S]  07:37, 24 April 2011 (EDT)

Changing a Detail on the Quote

If I'm wrong, you guys can change it back and I won't say anything, but whenever me, my friends, and quite a few let's players played Majora's Mask and got the Apocalyptic ending, we assumed that the person who spoke after Link was hit by the blast was the Majora's Mask, not the Happy Mask Salesman. Our reason for this was that we saw the mask right beforehand, heard horrible laughter whenever the line came up, and the Happy Mask Salesman didn't seem to be aware that the town had just been obliterated, so we didn't think he had used a mask to save us or anything.

Actually, that laughter comes from the Happy Mask Salesman (he laughs like that when you first meet him, I think), and he also says "You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?" when he sees you inside the Clock Tower. So it's definitely the HMS. Dany36 11:43, 13 July 2011 (EDT)

Trivia

The trivia mentions that "This game contained the first non-playable character that could be murdered by Link" and clearly states that it is talking about Sakon, however, aren't there more NPCs that Link can kill? (Mikau, all of the Terminians in Clock Town, etc.)—Darkness(Talk) 00:44, 12 December 2012 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Are you talking about letting the moon fall? I know you mean healing Mikau with the song of healing, but I wouldn't consider that murder since he was already dying and Link just makes it easier for him to pass on. And as far as everyone dying from the moon crash...I also wouldn't call that murder. Especially since it's not Link directly killing them.User:Justin ZW/sig 00:50, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
Oops. I remember that Mikau may have survived, but the Song of Healing killed him... or maybe I just misread the trivia. Sorry. —Darkness(Talk) 00:36, 13 December 2012 (UTC)Reply[reply]
