"The Blade that Pierces the Eye" is a Quest in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.[1]
Overview
After both the "Study the Blade" Side Quest and the "Freeing Korok Forest" Scenario are completed, "The Blade that Pierces the Eye" will be unlocked. A Hinox appears near the swordmaster's classroom, and Link must defeat it in order to calm her students.[2] To do this, he must provide a Hinox Trophy, 200 Bokoblin Trophies, and 100 Lizalfos Trophies. Afterwards, the swordmaster congratulates Link, saying that his skills may rival her own if he continues training.[3] As a reward, Link will receive a bonus combo for one-handed Weapons.[4]
"The Blade that Pierces the Eye" needs to be completed before the "Heartfelt Thanks" Side Quest can appear. This Side Quest is also one of several that need to be finished as part of "The Hope of Central Hyrule" Side Quest.
