"The Great Plateau" is the first Scenario of Chapter 7 and eighteenth overall in Age of Calamity.[1]

Overview

Link, Impa, Zelda, and Master Kohga, leading various Soldiers, Yiga Footsoldiers, and Yiga Blademasters, were teleported to the Great Plateau to assist allied units in the area.

The group assists various Hylian Captains located in their respective Outposts around the Great Plateau. It is reported that there is fighting further up the plateau, but the roads towards the area were obstructed by debris. This prompted Master Kohga to order a Yiga Footsoldier to escort the Diminutive Guardian towards the Shrine of Resurrection to allow anyone to teleport to circumnavigate the debris.

However, as the group heads toward the stairway to the temple, two Hinoxes will attack. Defeating them will prompt a Silver Lynel to attack. After it has been defeated, the Yiga Footsoldier and the Diminutive Guardian successfully activate the Shrine of Resurrection, allowing for the group to use the Sheikah Tower to teleport to the shrine.

After teleporting, the group will encounter a Malice Guardian fighting a Hylian Captain in the first Outpost. After defeating the Guardian, the final Hylian Captains in need of support are located inside the temple. The group travels down the narrow path to the temple and fight against final enemies.

Shortly after, Guardians and monsters will attack throughout the other segments of the Great Plateau. The group returns to the Shrine of Resurrection to teleport back to the Sheikah Tower, where they will fight back against the attacking enemies.
