"The Hateno Defense Squad" is a Quest in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.[1]
Overview
"The Hateno Defense Squad" is a Quest for Link that is unlocked after the "Making a Monster" Side Quest is completed, in addition to the "Mipha, the Zora Princess", "Daruk, the Goron Hero", "Revali, the Rito Warrior", "Urbosa, the Gerudo Chief" Scenarios. A group of young people from Hateno Village have banded together as the Hateno Defense Squad to defend their hometown during the Great Calamity, and Link is tasked with bringing them Materials to show his support.[2] They require five Mighty Porgies, five Ironshrooms, 150 Bokoblin Trophies, and 10 Moblin Trophies. After bringing the group their Materials, Link is inspired to put more effort into his training.[3] As a reward, Link receives an additional combo for two-handed Weapons.[4]
Completing "The Hateno Defense Squad" is a requirement before "The Volunteer Army" Side Quest can become available. This Side Quest also needs to be finished as part of "The Hope of Necluda" Side Quest.
