"The Lazy Guards" is a Side Quest in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

Overview

"The Lazy Guards" Side Quest becomes available after completing "The Future of Hyrule" Scenario. The guards of the Digdogg Suspension Bridge have been slacking in their duties, resulting in Merchants becoming fearful of crossing. To solve this, the Warriors are tasked with inspiring the guards. After giving them gifts, the guards return to their jobs, and the Merchants will freely begin crossing the Bridge. As a result, all Items at Shops in western Hyrule will receive a 10% discount.

Objectives

Stage	Description
Start	Merchants can't cross the Digdogg Suspension Bridge with confidence. Its guards are always slacking! Give the guards a reason to care—and bring them some rare gifts.
Complete	Your gifts put some pep back in the guards' steps, so they're keeping the Digdogg Suspension Bridge safe. The merchants are no longer refusing to travel across it—great news!
