The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Nintendo Switch 2)
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is a Nintendo Switch 2 remake of Ocarina of Time. It was officially announced during a Nintendo Direct on June 9, 2026.[2] It is scheduled to release later this year.[1]

Long ago, there was a land called Hyrule, created by beings of supreme divinity.

At the very edge of this kingdom, there lay a small forest.
Within it, an ancient, solitary tree quietly watched over the inhabitants of the forest.

However, there was one particular boy...
who did not have a fairy.
The remake features a tapestry depicting a scene surrounding the Great Deku Tree. On this tapestry, there is an image of Link sleeping within his branches and a banner of Kokiri doing various tasks with their Fairies.

The Mark of the Triforce

The Crest of Courage
The designs of the Master Sword and Hylian Shield have been updated and now resemble their designs introduced in Skyward Sword. The Crest of Courage, a signifier that one has been chosen to wield the Triforce of Courage, also appears on Link's hand during the cutscene where he experiences a nightmare. This mark previously only appeared as a result of the Triforce splitting, an event that happens after this point in time.

Additionally, the red Zelda logo used for Ocarina of Time and Ocarina of Time 3D has been replaced with a golden version of the flat and worn logo first introduced in Breath of the Wild.
