Features and Overview

Breath of the Wild

The Noble Canteen is a bar in Gerudo Town managed by Furosa. It is known for a cocktail called Noble Pursuit, which is popular among the Gerudo.[3][4] Due to the Ice that the Canteen sources from the Northern Icehouse, the bar's drinks are known the be refreshing.[4][5] Various Gerudo women can be found within the bar throughout the day. Nellie, Pritana, and Jules all visit the Canteen throughout the day. A poster on the Canteen's wall shows a Recipe for Chilly Mushroom Risotto, with the Ingredients being Rock Salt, a Chillshroom, Goat Butter and Hylian Rice. When Link first enters The Noble Canteen, Furosa recognizes that he is too young to partake in her drinks.[6][7]

Deltan can be found sitting inside The Noble Canteen, hunched over and complaining about men.[8] Pyra, Sumati, and Yaido are also regular patrons of the Canteen, where they can be found discussing the Gerudo Secret Club's password.[9] However, they end their conversation when they notice that Link is listening to them.[10] By listening in from the window of the House next door, Link is able to hear the password.[11]

During "The Perfect Drink" Shrine Quest, Link must procure a Noble Pursuit for Pokki, who is stranded in the East Barrens.[12] When Furosa hears about her situation, she reveals that she has run out of Ice and is unable to make the drink.[13][14] After Link offers to fetch the Ice for her, Furosa decides to meet him at the end of the ruins between the Northern Icehouse and Gerudo Town.[15] Once she has the Ice, Furosa is able to make a Noble Pursuit, and she asks Link to inform Pokki that it is waiting for her..[16][17] Upon hearing this from Link, Pokki will run back to The Noble Canteen.[18] Back at the Canteen, Furosa invites Link to come back when he is of age.[19]

  4. 4.0 4.1 [Recommendations?] Our featured cocktail is called Noble Pursuit. Many of our customers come were specifically to order it. The light, sweet taste... The cool sensation from each sip... It's like drinking distilled motivation! — Furosa (Breath of the Wild)
  5. [Special drinks?] Well, a big part of the drink is the ice we use from the icehouse. It makes them especially refreshing. — Furosa (Breath of the Wild)

  13. [Noble Pursuit?] You want to try our signature drink, Noble Pursuit? Unfortunately, I need a huge amount of ice to make that drink, and I'm fresh out right now. Besides, it's a really strong drink. Even if I could make it, I wouldn't sell it to a little vai like you. — Furosa (Breath of the Wild)
  14. [Actually...] What'd you say? Pokki's collapsed? Hmm. I want to help her out, but I can't make a you-know-what without ice. There's ice at the icehouse, but my legs aren't in the best shape for hauling ice... — Furosa (Breath of the Wild)
  15. [Should I get it for you?] Are you serious? You'll get it? That'd be a huge help. Pokki is my best customer, after all. I wish I could get the ice myself. Anyway, the icehouse is north of town. Anche manages it, but I think if you explain the situation, she'll let you have some ice. You should know that she heads to bed quite early. If you plan to go, you'll need to get there while it's bright out. Oh, young lady... Carrying ice all the way through the desert and then all the way to town? I can't let that stand? If you bring the ice to the entrance to the ruins—between town and the icehouse—I can take it from there. — Furosa (Breath of the Wild)
  16. I'll be able to make a Noble Pursuit with this. It may be the best I've ever made... Sorry, but could you please let Pokki know? Tell her that I made the best one ever and I've got it waiting for her... Knowing her, she'll probably come running when she hears that there's an amazing drink with her name on it. — Furosa (Breath of the Wild)
  17. With this, I'll be able to make the ultimate Noble Pursuit. I've got one more favor to ask. Could you go and let Pokki know? Just tell her the best drink ever is waiting for her... What? No, of course this will work. Knowing her, if she hears a delicious drink is waiting, she'll come running. — Furosa (Breath of the Wild)
  18. [Actually...] Huh? Did you say "best Noble Pursuit ever"? Pfft, I am GONE! — Pokki (Breath of the Wild)
  19. Vasaaq, little Hylian vai. I've heard people beyond our walls were cold, but you don't seem to be... Be sure to come back when you're all grown up. I'll help you celebrate with a Noble Pursuit! — Furosa (Breath of the Wild)
