"The Sheikah Tribesman" is the second Scenario of the Prologue arc of Legend Mode in Hyrule Warriors.[name references needed] It takes place in the Eldin Caves.

Overview

Impa, Link and the rest of the Hyrulean Forces begin their search for Princess Zelda after she goes missing following the battle in Hyrule Castle. Hearing a rumor that a group of Hyrulean soldiers were being lead by a young woman in the Faron Woods, Impa and Link make their way to the forest via the Eldin Cave, hoping to find the princess.[1]

As the Hyrulean Forces begin to make their way towards the southeast cave exit, they meet up with a Hylian Captain only to find that their path is blocked by lava.[2][3] With the aid of the Goron Captain, a Bombchu is launched towards the stone spire to blow it up and make a path for the Hyrulean Forces to continue.[4][5] However, they are soon surrounded by a large group of Dark Forces, and just as it seems they have been overcome, a mysterious Sheikah warrior known as Sheik saves them from their predicament by quickly defeating the foes. Sheik reassures Impa and Link that the princess is alive, and that they will meet her later on in their quest. [6]

Heading their way towards the exit, Wizzro calls for reinforcements and begins another attack on the Hyrulean Forces as they advance via the cave’s tunnels. Impa and Link soon defeat the Spirit of the Caves, the source of the evil coming deep within the caves, allowing them to continue.[7][8] Link, Impa, and Sheik come to find a stone spire larger than the previous one, with this one requiring two Bombchus to destroy instead of one. As the Goron Captain launches both Bombchus,[9] Wizzro shows himself in the battlefield to try and destroy the last two ammunition of bombs that the Gorons have left.[10] The Hyrulean Forces swiftly defeat the wizard while protecting the Bombchus from the attacks of the Dark Forces, permitting the bomb critters to destroy the two stone spires and reveal the exit of the caves. With Link, Impa, and Sheik at the exit, they then head out to the Faron Woods, hoping to find Princess Zelda there.[11]

After the Scenario finishes, Sheik becomes a playable character and her Weapon, the Harp, becomes available for use.
