The Swamp is the second Stage of the Near the Fields Level in Four Swords Adventures.[1]

Themes and Navigation

At the entrance to the swamp, Kaepora Gaebora arrives and warns the Links of the poison lands ahead. Kaepora Gaebora says Vaati poisoned the swamp and drove out its regular inhabitants; all that remain are monsters. The grassy terrain of The Swamp is pockmarked with poisonous pools of Poison Pool and lined by rocky cliffsides. The cliffsides have many Cave systems interconnecting many parts of The Swamp. These Cave systems come in especially handy when Shadow Link turns up with his Giant Bombs, serving as life-saving retreats.

The Graveyard located north of The Swamp

Further into the area, Dampé tends to a cemetery. Dampé tells of a Mirror in which a dark tribe was sealed away long ago. Dampé indicates that it rested in the Forest of Light which he says is now the Forest of Dark. The four Links access this area by lifting large Trees from a nearby path with the Power Bracelet.
