Reward Tawa Jinn Shrine

"The Three Giant Brothers" is a Shrine Quest in Breath of the Wild.[1]

Overview

On top of Mount Taran, Link will find a Stone Tablet surrounded by three Pedestals with Concave Slots. Inscribed upon the Tablet is a message, which states that the three Ancient Orbs that are guarded by "giants" will lead to an Ancient Shrine.[2] Reading the Stone Tablet will begin the Shrine Quest.

The giants referred to on the Stone Tablet are three Hinoxes with Ancient Orbs tied around their necks that are sleeping in different places on Mount Taran. Link must retrieve the Orbs by either sneaking past or defeating the Hinoxes. The Hinox (Youngest Kin) is a regular Hinox that rests on an island in Hanu Pond. The Hinox (Middle Kin) is a Blue Hinox that sleeps in Uten Marsh. Finally, the Hinox (Oldest Kin) is a Black Hinox in the Rabella Wetlands. This Hinox is surrounded by Blue Bokoblins and Stalkoblins, which will attack Link if they notice him.

Each Ancient Orb must be placed in the Concave Slots of one of the Pedestals at the top of Mount Taran. After all three Pedestals have been activated, Tawa Jinn Shrine will rise from the ground between them.[3] After this, the Shrine Quest will be completed.
