"The Treasure Detector" is a Quest in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.[1]

Overview

"The Treasure Detector" Quest becomes available after both the "A Rumor about Skull Lake" Quest and the "Relentless as a Waterfall" Scenario have been finished. The Merchant that runs the Fang and Bone has developed a radar system for detecting Treasure Chests all throughout Hyrule, and he will trade it to the Warriors in return for Monster Parts.[2] Once he receives the Monster Parts, the Merchant gives the Warriors his radar.[3] As a result, the Warriors are able to see how many Treasure Chests can be found in each Scenario.[3][4]

Completing "The Treasure Detector" is required for the "Upgrading the Detector" Quest to appear. In addition, finishing "The Treasure Detector" is needed to complete the Quests "The Hope of Akkala" and "The Hope of All Hyrule".
