"The Treasure Detector" is a Side Quest in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.[1]
Overview
"The Treasure Detector" Side Quest becomes available after both the "A Rumor about Skull Lake" Side Quest and the "Relentless as a Waterfall" Scenario have been finished. The Merchant that runs the Fang and Bone has developed a radar system for detecting Treasure Chests all throughout the Hyrule, and he will trade it to the Warriors in return for Monster Parts.[2] Once he receives the Monster Parts, the Merchant will give the Warriors his radar.[3] As a result, Warriors will be able to see how many Treasure Chests can be found in each Scenario.[3][4]
Completing "The Treasure Detector" is required in order for the "Upgrading the Detector" Side Quest to appear. In addition, finishing "The Treasure Detector" is also required in order to complete "The Hope of Akkala" Side Quest.
