"The Volunteer Army" is a Quest in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

Overview

"The Volunteer Army" is unlocked after completing "The Hateno Defense Squad" Quest. The citizens of Hyrule have come together to create a volunteer army, and Link wants to bring them gifts. This includes two Ambers, two Sapphires, five Moblin Trophies, and one Stone Talus Trophy. The citizens were grateful for his support, and he ended up practicing two-handed Weapons with them. As a reward, Link receives a bonus combo for two-handed Weapons.

Completing "The Volunteer Army" is required to complete the Quests "The Hope of Necluda" and "The Hope of All Hyrule". The "Refuel Motivation" Quest also will not appear until this Quest is finished.

Objectives

Stage	Description
Start	The people of Hyrule are forming a volunteer army, and members of the Hateno Defense Squad are among the enlistees. Perhaps Link can help young militia get off on the right foot.
Complete	Link was showered with thanks for his support of the volunteer army! Practicing two-handed weapon fighting with the energetic recruits, he felt their enthusiasm rubbing off on him.
