"The Weapon Connoisseur" is a Side Quest in Breath of the Wild.[1]
Overview
In Hateno Village, Link can speak to Nebb, who will ask if he has traveled the world.[2] Nebb comments that Link must be strong with Weapons and that he can probably use many different kinds.[3] Nebb explains that his grandfather loved Weapons and wanted to see a lot of different kinds, but he died before he could see them all.[4] Nebb wants to continue what his grandfather started, so he asks Link to bring him Weapons from all around Hyrule, thus giving him the Side Quest.[5]
Nebb asks to see the following Weapons:
- The first Weapon is a Traveler's Sword.[6]Nebb will then give Link a Red Rupee as thanks.[7]
- The third Weapon is a Moblin Club.[10] He will give Link a Purple Rupee as a reward for seeing one.[11]
- The fourth Weapon is a Duplex Bow.[12] When Link brings him one, Nebb will thank him and give him another Purple Rupee.[13]
- The fifth Weapon is a Windcleaver.[14] If Link brings Nebb a Windcleaver, he will reward him with a Silver Rupee.[15]
- The sixth Weapon is an Ancient Battle Axe+.[16] Nebb will give Link another Silver Rupee for showing him one. [17]
- The seventh Weapon is the Frostspear.[18] Bringing Nebb a Frostspear will result in him giving Link a Gold Rupee.[19]
- The final Weapon is an Ancient Short Sword.[20] For bringing Nebb the final weapon, he will give Link a Diamond.[21]
After seeing all of the Weapons, Nebb thanks Link, and he is sure his grandpa is happy wherever he is.[22] He runs off, and the Side Quest will be completed.
