In Link's Awakening, Link can Throw Bombs and various Objects he can Lift from the ground. Throwing is required to defeat the Genie and Rover. It is also needed to Open some Doors and Treasure Chests in some Dungeons,^[which?] solve puzzles, and break the pillars in the Eagle's Tower by Throwing a Ball at them. Throwing Objects at Enemies damages them.^[3]
