Tormali is a Gerudo woman who is responsible for guarding the Oasis.[1][3] She works as a subordinate to Facette. Tormali can be found standing in front of the Tough Mango Plant Lab.

When Princess Zelda first visits the Oasis, Tormali will be searching for something that Facette was unable to locate.[4][5] If Zelda speaks to her, Tormali will introduce herself and explain that she has recently received a task from her boss.[3] She asks Zelda if she has ever seen a Flying Tile, and she explains that Facette tasked her with finding out.[6] Tormali requests that Zelda bring her one if she ever encounters them.[7] After this conversation, the Side Quest "The Flying Tile" will begin.

Should Zelda summon the Echo of a Flying Tile for Tormali, she will be shocked.[8] When she sees it move, she realizes that it is what she was searching for and asks Zelda to show her more.[9] After witnessing how Flying Tiles work, Tormali feels confident that she can report her findings to Facette.[10] She thanks Zelda and gives her a Purple Rupee as a reward for her help.[11] Tormali then talks about how Facette researches the ruins in the Gerudo Desert to help the people of Gerudo Town, and she hopes to be like her one day.[12]

If Zelda talks to Tormali after completing her Side Quest, she will thank her again for her help.[13] She then remarks that there are many remarkable and undiscovered things in the world.[14] After Zelda has mended the Rift at the Desert Temple Ruins, Tormali will thank her for helping the Gerudo so far and wish her luck.[15] Once the Main Quest "A Rift in the Gerudo Desert" has been completed, Tormali expresses her desire to rest now that the Rifts are all gone.[16] After Zelda has finished "Still Missing", Tormali will talk about Jabul Waters, and she wonders if she would value Water so much if she were from such a place.[17]
