Tough Bulwark of the Gorons is a level 27 Challenge in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

Overview

Tough Bulwark of the Gorons is a Challenge that can be completed using only Daruk and any other Warrior. When completed for the first time, the Warriors receive a reward of an Ethereal Stone, the Flamebreaker Boots, and a random Weapon.

The Warriors' objective is to capture four Outposts while defending an Allied Stronghold. Two Outposts can be found above and below the Allied Stronghold, while the other two are on the eastern and western sides of the map. After the first one is killed, the other two spawn.

On the path to the western Outpost is a Moblin, and when defeated, another Moblin spawns alongside a Fire Wizzrobe. When this Fire Wizzrobe is killed, two more spawn in the center of the map. Three Fire Moblins spawn when they are both killed, and no more major Enemies spawn afterwards.

The western Outpost contains only Lizalfos, and the northern Outpost contains only Fire-Breath Lizalfos. The southern Outpost contains a mix of Blue Lizalfos, Fire-Breath Lizalfos, and Fire Chuchus, with a Blue Lizalfos as its Boss. The eastern Outpost contains Lizalfos, although to capture it the Warriors must defeat the two Fire Moblins inside. As one of the Warriors approaches the eastern Outpost, magma bombs will also rain down on them from the sky. Aside from the Outposts, there are Fire Keese, Lizalfos, Fire-Breath Lizalfos, and Octoroks scattered around the map in large numbers. Goron Captains also aid the Warriors in their mission. The Challenge ends when the four Outposts are captured.
