The Training Division is a group in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]

Biography

The Training Division is a sect of the Yiga Clan focused on training their fellow members.[1] To join the Division, one must have mastered using Earthwake, which the Division itself provides training for.[1] It is represented by a single Yiga Blademaster, who can be found in the Yiga Clan Hideout Hall within the Yiga Clan Hideout.[2] This Blademaster operates the Yiga Clan Training Mini-Game, from which Link can obtain the Lightning Helm and the Earthwake Manual.[3] The Training Division teaches recruits by having them spar with other members of the Yiga for a full minute.[3][4]

  2. So you're the newcomer, huh? This is where we train. Zelda's disappearance robbed Hyrule of its spirit, which gives us the perfect opportunity to bring it to its knees. The only problem is her stubborn little "appointed swordsman," Link. We've received reports that he still lives. I hate to admit it, but he's a formidable foe. We'll need to hone our skills if we hope to take him down. If you value your life, you should do some training yourself. Prove you've got what it takes... and you might even earn our precious Lightning Helm. It's our sacred treasure, completely resistant to electricity. But because it's such a powerful piece of armor, it can only be handled by those who have been properly trained. — Yiga Blademaster (Tears of the Kingdom)
  3. 3.0 3.1 We train by sparring with our fellow Yiga. We set a timer, and the combatants just keep coming. You'll earn better and better prizes based on the number of opponents you defeat. — Yiga Blademaster (Tears of the Kingdom)
  4. [Tell me the rules!] You spar continuously with Yiga members for 1 minute. That's it. Nobody's going to be pulling punches here either. Once training begins, you'll all fight like your lives depend on it. — Yiga Blademaster (Tears of the Kingdom)
