Location and Uses
Breath of the Wild
Travel Gates appear outside every Ancient Shrine and on the top of every Sheikah Tower and can be used for Warping via the Sheikah Slate. Travel Gates also appear outside the Hateno Ancient Tech Lab and the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab. The Travel Medallion is a magical Object that functions like a portable Travel Gate.
Tears of the Kingdom
Travel Gates appear outside of Skyview Towers, Temples, and Shrines of Light.
