Tree Mimics are Enemies in Cadence of Hyrule.[1]

Characteristics

Tree Mimics are enemies that pose as Trees in order to ambush Cadence, Link, Yves, or Zelda in dungeons. When dormant, they appear almost identical to small Trees, but can be identified by their red eye, which occasionally appears to look around for future victims. They are also invulnerable in this form, being immune to damage from all Weapons and magic, though can be stunned with the Boomerang and Hookshot. They will only transform into their true selves when any of the heroes are standing directly next to them, and will proceed to chase them on every beat until stunned or slain.
