"Trial of the Ancients" is a Challenge in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

Overview

"Trial of the Ancients" becomes available upon completion of the Quests "The Trial of Monsters", "The Trial of Stones", and "The Trial of the Mighty Foe".

Trial of the Ancients is located in a Ancient Shrine on the Great Plateau, and is unlocked after completing the Challenges "The Trial of Stones," "The Trial of Monsters," and "The Trial of the Mighty Foe." In the Challenge, the Warrior is given three minutes to defeat Monk Maz Koshia. When first cleared, the Challenge rewards the Warrior with an Ethereal Stone, two Star Fragments, and a Diamond. Completing this mission also unlocks the Challenge "Monk's Training" and unlocks Monk Maz Koshia as a playable Warrior.
