Ultra Death Bug is a Boss in Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland.[1]
Characteristics
The Ultra Death Bug is the second encounter with the Death Bug.[2] Tingle must drop three Bomb Fruits or Tingle Bombs on its head, at which point it transforms into the Gargantu-Bug.[3] It resembles the Death Bug in appearance, though its carapace has become purple and the once-green Rupee-like crystals on its back are now red.
The fight also plays out similarly to that of the Death Bug, complete with Teddy Todo once again acting as Tingle's Bodyguard by defeating the Enemies summoned by the Ultra Death Bug.
