Image Sources
Hello! Firstly, I must say those images that you have been uploading are excellent. Though, I'm curious as to whether you create them yourself or if you've found them elsewhere. If it's the latter, could you please source where you found them while uploading? Thanks! - TonyT S C 16:08, 7 November 2015 (UTC)
- Am I doing this wrong? I'm sorry, I'm really new in this. And well, I'm taking screenshots from the game (using emulation I must say) and adding transparency and such. --Barquero (talk) 19:24, 7 November 2015 (UTC)
- Don't worry, you're doing just fine :) we always try to add the source from where the images uploaded to the wiki come from, but if you are doing them yourself then it's alright. Like Kasuto said, they are actually pretty good, so keep up the good work! :) - Chuck * (Talk) 20:29, 7 November 2015 (UTC)
- I also just wanted to add something to this: after replacing an image, don't forget to check to see if the pages that link to it are displaying it correctly. Since most of the uploads are much larger images replacing smaller images, often the images take up a wide amount of space on the page because they don't have a thumbnail size. Otherwise these uploads are really great, and we're super happy to have them! - Midoro (T C) 20:54, 7 November 2015 (UTC)
- If it happens, you just have to add the size by pixels to the image link. For example: 150px. - Midoro (T C) 21:33, 7 November 2015 (UTC)
Four Swords enemy's names source
Hi! We were wondering where you got the Spanish names of the enemies in FS. Hope you can help us with that :) - Chuck * (Talk) 05:12, 30 November 2015 (UTC)
- Oh! I saw them recently in a old Spanish magazine called "Nintendo Accion", it has like this mini-guide of the game with the monster and bosses. I was actually thinking about putting the source but I don't really know how. If you can give me some insight I will do it.-Barquero (talk)
- Cool, thanks! We were mostly wondering how the skeleton enemies are called in the game (Stalfos or Stalchildren). Think you can verify this for us? - Chuck * (Talk) 05:30, 30 November 2015 (UTC)
- Nevermind, I found scans of the magazine myself :p but thanks for giving us the source! :) - Chuck * (Talk) 05:35, 30 November 2015 (UTC)
File Naming Conventions
Hey there. Firstly I have to say that I adore what you're doing with the PH/ST images, really awesome work. However, could you perhaps name files in accordance with our naming conventions?
For example, something like 'File:Rabbit ST.png' should preferably be named 'File:ST Rabbit Model.png' or something along those lines just for consistency. If you have questions about that, feel free to let me know. Again, you're doing really solid work! - TonyT S C 01:17, 3 January 2016 (UTC)
RTBToL Save Pig Model.png
Hi Barquero, nice add with the images for RTBToL! I was wondering how you got File:RTBToL Save Pig Model.png, since it looks so nice? Was it rendered in higher than normal resolution? If it was from a screenshot, then the type should be "Renders", since the rotating pig is a 3d object. Also, when you're uploading images, can I suggest PNGGauntlet to reduce the file size? While I'm here, could I also ask about File:FS Dera Zol Small Form Orbs.png, which I replaced since mine looked different from yours, as you can read from the comment I left?
--KokoroSenshi 23:29, 11 January 2016 (UTC)
- About the Dera Zol, yes I reverted the blue orb thanks for fixing that. And for the renders, yes they are render in a higher resolution using the DS emulator DeSmuMe, I've been uploading PH/ST renders in higher resolution too using the HD prescaling option. -Barquero (talk)
- I can't seem to find the HD prescaling option, could you tell me where? (Is this in the original or a fork? Only because I remember reading about the HD 3d rendering somewhere a while ago.)
- --KokoroSenshi (Talk | contribs) 02:15, 12 January 2016 (UTC)
- Am... Click Configurations then 3D settings, there is a option call HD Prescaling, set it to five and that should do the trick :D I think I'm using the recent version (0.9.12) -Barquero (talk)
- Thanks, but that's odd I can't find it there; I'm not using 0.9.12, but I can't seem to actually find ver 0.9.12 either...
- --KokoroSenshi (Talk | contribs) 02:53, 12 January 2016 (UTC)
- Oh, I found versions with it at http://buildbot.orphis.net/desmume/ through Wikipedia, but is that where you went?
- --KokoroSenshi (Talk | contribs) 02:56, 12 January 2016 (UTC)
- I have it from a pack of emulators called WinDSPRO -Barquero (talk)
- Ohh that's kinda nice that they bundle it up. Well the Desmume one in there should be the same as the corresponding r#### on http://buildbot.orphis.net/desmume/ and on their sourceforge (if you know where to look)
- Thanks for that! :)

Zelda's Adventure
Hey, since I saw you ripped some sprites from Zelda's Adventure, I was hoping you could help with something.
There's a village to the east of the Forest of Canvula, supposedly called Ubato. The only source I could get for the name Ubato was from this sign. However the image is low quality and blurry, so I cannot make out all of the sign. Do you think you could check to see what the sign reads? Thanks. - Midoro (T C) 16:01, 16 February 2017 (UTC)
- I uploaded a new version of the file :D --Barquero (talk) 17:11, 16 February 2017 (UTC)
- Out of curiosity, do you think it says "Ubato [ ]ills" e.g. "Ubato Hills"? --KokoroSenshi (talk | contribs) 12:57, 17 February 2017 (UTC)
- Thank you for that Barquero.
- Zooming in, yeah it does look like "Ubato hills". Good enough for a move, I think. - Midoro (T C) 16:35, 17 February 2017 (UTC)
Tingles image
Hello. Do you think it might be possible for you to upload a better quality image of this file? Thanks. - Midoro (T C) 20:30, 25 February 2017 (UTC)
- The new version is ready :D --Barquero (talk) 02:08, 26 February 2017 (UTC)
- Awesome, thank you! - Midoro (T C) 04:48, 26 February 2017 (UTC)
